For our pre-designed models, you can generally expect a build timeline of about 90 days. That’s from the moment the design is locked in and materials are ordered to when your home is ready for move-in. We've streamlined our process for these models to get you living tiny sooner, without ever sacrificing our commitment to quality craftsmanship.
However, if you're opting for a fully custom tiny home, the timeline can extend a bit. Custom projects, especially those with a variety of unique features or design changes that happen throughout the course of the build, might take an additional 4-6 weeks. This extra time allows us to really fine-tune those personalized elements and ensure your home is exactly what you envisioned.
Beyond the actual construction, there are a couple of other things that can impact the total duration. The initial 3D Design Program, where we work one-on-one to craft your unique floor plan, is a crucial first step and can take some time to perfect. Also, site preparation, including land use planning, zoning checks, and utility connections, needs to happen before construction can really get underway.
